Volunteers are needed right now for the Circulation Desk Tuesday's from 4:00 - 7:00pm. Volunteers in this position meet and greet patrons, check items in and out, assist patrons with computers, library related needs and accept donations. Volunteers also maintain the appearance of the Library shelving media, keeping the library clean and presentable. Volunteers work in pairs; it’s fun to do this with a friend or spouse, so recruit someone to volunteer with you!
Join our team by visiting the Library to pick up a Volunteer Application, or visiting our website (http://www.keizerlibrary.org/home/come_volunteer) for a printable application (please print, fill it out, and drop it off at the Library). Volunteers who have regular access to Library patrons and Board members are also required to complete a criminal background check.
We look forward to having you join our team!
About The Keizer Community Library
A Gem in the Heart of the Keizer Community
Established in 1988, Keizer Community Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, not tax-supported by the City of Keizer. The mission of the Library is to be a dynamic organization that enhances the lives of patrons by connecting them to the world’s wisdom, knowledge, and culture through open access to information and creative expression in many formats.
Volunteers are an invaluable presence at the Keizer Community Library. As an all-volunteer run library, we rely on our fantastic volunteers donating their time and efforts to help us fulfill our mission and vision. We welcome dedicated individuals who are looking to donate their time and talents. Whether you are looking to fill some free time, to gain new skills (we’ll provide the training) or just looking to give back, the Library is a great place to achieve your volunteering goals.
