Automotive shop in Willamina, OR looking to hire a Senior Automotive Technician within the next month. We are a brand.new business in a new shop with plenty of growth and opportunity. We are looking for someone to perform complete vehicle maintenance and inspections: including tires, brakes, and checking all fluid levels. Someone with the ability to work on all makes and models. We are looking for someone that has experience in working with diagnostic tools and special service equipment. The ability to handle brake changes, tire changes, and general maintenance. The ability to maneuver vehicles carefully in crowded spaces, moving and parking vehicles for maximum lot efficiency. Will monitor each vehicle's gas, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery life, and checking the condition of the vehicle's suspension. They will also have the ability to occasionally engage with customers in a friendly, informative, and professional manner. Physical activities are required, such as but not limited to kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing ladders, frequent walking, standing, lifting up to approximately 50-75 pounds. This candidate will be subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, noises, and hazards. The environment also exposes the employee to potentially hazardous substances. We are looking for someone with ASE certifications or equivalent, and previous automotive shop experience, They should be able to operate vehicles with manual transmissions. Safely operate company equipment and vehicles. Must have a valid drivers license with an insurable driving record. Must be familiar with basic email and computer skills, phone, cordless drill/screwdriver, battery charger, etc. Must be able to meet physical demands essential for the job. Must be willing to take direction. Someone that is mature and highly motivated to get the job done and grow with the business. Must be able to maintain effective personal relationships with supervisors, staff members, and customers. The ability to adapt to change as we are a growing business.
