Position Summary
Maintenance Technicians and Foremen play a key leadership role in delivering high‑quality service, maintaining safety, and upholding Pfeifer Roofing’s standards on every project. They work closely with the maintenance superintendent and team members to diagnose and repair roof‑related issues, perform cleanings, and complete maintenance across all roof types and pitches.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include replacing flashings, vents, shingles, fascia, and valleys; installing sun tunnels; repairing flat, tile, metal, composite, and other roof systems; and applying basic painting, caulking, and siding skills. Technicians are expected to work safely on all roof systems, follow all PPE and fall‑protection requirements, understand maintenance products—including RoofMaxx—and provide accurate field notes and photos for job documentation. They maintain organization of tools, materials, and vehicles, communicate reliably with the Foreman and Superintendent, assist crew members as needed, and demonstrate eagerness to learn each day. As representatives of Pfeifer Roofing, they consistently deliver excellent workmanship, customer satisfaction, and professional conduct.
Education and Experience
• One to Five years of Roofing Production or Service/Maintenance Roofing Experience
• Valid driver’s license and insurable record under company auto liability
• Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card preferred
• Ability to work 8- to 12- hour shifts, weekdays, and weekends
• Specialized training, such as, safety, manufacturer system training, specific equipment, DOT compliance etc. preferred
