I have an 03 honda crv engine that I'm replacing 8/10/25 with a low mile import engine. Mechanic determined it was an internal (likely a small head gasket leak) and I needed my car sooner than a rebuid project so opted for an engine swap. Engine does have 213k miles but it was one owner and was meticulous with maintenance according to carfax. Car is really clean for its age and no rust anywhere so should be a great engine once rebuilt. Honda engines can be modified a lot too so theres lots of options to make a better motor.
