I'm unfortunately having to rehome my fat tail gecko due to my financial situation and stress levels. He is, I think, male. The previous owner told me he is around 4 years old (and female) but he looks male to me. He is docile and tolerates handling well as long as you scoop him up from below or let him walk onto your hand. He likes to climb his grapevine hollow and plants. He is an extremely picky eater and since i've had him, refuses to eat anything except superworms and mealworms. For the past few weeks he won't even eat those. I also suspect he has a vitamin A deficiency (started about a month ago) due to shiny/dry skin along his back. I'm not sure why he would have a deficiency as I have always given him multivitamin powder. I started giving him the occasional dose of specifically Vitamin A powder (once every 2 weeks) and his skin does look much better after his last two sheds, but he may still need to see a vet as his lack of appetite may be related. I sadly can't afford it right now. I just want to find him a good home, so asking a rehoming fee of $80. He will come with his UVB, deep heat projector, Repashy Calcium Plus, Repashy Vitamin A, and his fake plants/hides. Looking for a responsible person who has experience with AFTs and/or reptiles who hunger strike. I really just want to find him a caring, permanent home. Text me if interested and feel free to ask questions.
