OVERVIEW:
• Responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general office support.
• Hours: 3 mornings per week (up to 15 hrs./week)
• Pay: $16-$18/hour (based on experience), plus paid holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma
• Reliable transportation, valid license, and insurance
• Bookkeeping Experience
• Confidentiality with sensitive information
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Ability to work independently
• Pass a background check (paid for by the church)
• Experience with financial software, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint
• Accurate and timely handling of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reports
• Consistent attendance and reliability
• Commitment to modeling Christian values and professionalism
KEY DUTIES:
• Manage accounts, payroll, and assist with financial reports for the Church Council
• Maintain personnel files and assist with benefits administration
• Provide general office support: phones, email, scheduling, correspondence, and recordkeeping
• Assist with communications (newsletter, website, social media)
• Order supplies and support leadership with administrative tasks
