The Resource Development Coordinator is responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities to secure funding for organizational programs. This role also supports fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement efforts to advance the organization’s mission.
The position requires strong writing, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing needs. Accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism are essential, as errors or missed deadlines may impact funding opportunities and donor relationships.
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
-At least 2 years of professional grant writing and/or fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector.
-Proven success in securing grants and managing donor relationships.
-Experience in event planning or donor stewardship (preferred).
Skills Required:
-Proven expertise in grant writing and persuasive communication.
-Strong research and analytical skills to identify and secure funding opportunities.
-Highly organized with excellent time management; skilled at balancing multiple deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, donor databases, and online grant portals.
-Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
-High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
-Confident public speaker for donor presentations and community engagement.
Pay and Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (Weekends as needed)

Salem Location: 2290 State St. Salem OR 97301
We are open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm, and 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
