KT Contracting Co Inc is a small, family-run construction company seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated individual for a full-time position. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, communicating with contractors and vendors, and helping keep projects organized from bidding through completion.
This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, project coordination, invoicing, scheduling, and customer communication.

Responsibilities
Bidding & Project Setup
• Search for upcoming construction projects and bid opportunities
• Prepare and organize bid documents and bid sheets
• Request quotes and pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Send bid invitations to subcontractors
• Assist with wage and tax rate research
• Enter and update jobs in company tracking systems and schedules
Project Coordination
• Create and maintain job folders and project documentation
• Coordinate contracts, submittals, and project schedules
• Request lead times and schedules from vendors and subcontractors
• Order materials for awarded projects
• Assist with project setup in QuickBooks and internal systems
• Maintain organized digital and physical project records
Work Orders & Invoicing
• Create work orders and project statements
• Coordinate utility locates prior to construction
• Assist with progress billing and invoicing
• Update invoice tracking calendars and job schedules
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and current
Collections & Customer Communication
• Follow up on outstanding invoices
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and contractors
• Update customer and project information as needed
• Assist office staff and management with additional administrative duties
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable making phone calls and communicating professionally
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new software
• Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, or construction administration is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and positive attitude
