Band looking for a few new members! (Salem)

Hey there craigslist peeps!

Current band looking to add a member or two. We're primarily a punk rock/rock band. We're committed to practicing weekly on Fridays in Salem, and can increase that if we get more members. Currently we have some of our own songs we've worked on, and will be adding more down the road, but want to add to the songs we have now, and add another member. As far as cover songs, we feel we'll learn and pick them when we have a full band.

We're currently looking for the following members to join our set:
- Bass Guitarist (NEED!)
- Keyboardist for backup music / rhythm
History about current members:

Brad (Me/Drummer): Been drumming for about 10+ years, and have minimal gig experience (I've been with two bands prior, one of which we did a few gigs). Owned various sets and kits, but currently now only own one ekit, but will be expanding on this. Went to college for IT and Networking, and did a lot of side music during that time. I also have about 6 years of singing and projectile audio experience.

Patrick (Guitarist/vocals): Patrick has been playing guitar as long as I've known him. About 12+ years now. Background in IT, as well as some music and guitar knowledge/experience. Really great with strum work and plucking patterns.

John (Guitarist/vocals): John has been playing guitar since he was a kid. Most of our songs have come from this guys incredible talent of creating music.

We all have our own gear and can play really well together. We're able to recognize what sounds good and what to keep, as well as what doesn't sound well and needs to be dropped. We're pretty laid back guys, and enjoy our time practicing and growing as a band, but also recognize this is a commitment and want others to join who feel the same way as we do. When we need to be serious, we can be serious as well :)

So you're still reading and still interested?! Awesome!

Below is a basic questionnaire to cull the herd of people interested. This will help us see if we're a good fit before we schedule a jam tryout.

Please answer the below questions as best you can :)

Any and all who are interested, please feel free to email me with the following info filled out:

Background on yourself (a little bit about you):

Distance willing to travel for practice:
(This will be at my place as for now, which is in Salem. This is more to see how far you're willing to travel):

Instrument you'd be interested in trying out for our band:

Instrument Skill Level (all skill levels welcome):

Things/skills you can bring to the table:

Likes / Dislikes you've experienced with bands in the past you wouldn't want to see in your future band you join, if applicable:

Owned Equipment:
(You will be required to have your own stuff for tryouts. As a band, down the road we'll mostly likely all contribute to new equipment and such, but that's after we have a full band and set expectations)

(while not a deciding factor, maturity and commitment is huge for us here, and we want members who are willing to stick around even if things get rough. We're in our early 30's, and want someone around our age, but not against someone older/younger. It just has to fit right):

Availability (We have committed Fridays to practices for 2-4 hours, We understand some schedules don't mesh, but if you're committed, im sure all of us can come up with some days that work):

Anything else you'd like to share:

Currently we're not gig ready, and that's the truth. Gigs would be great right now, but that takes a well coordinated band and lots of practice and getting the band to sound good, as well as music selection, locations, etc. When this band is fully ready, is when we can do gigs. Please dont message asking if were gig ready and/or how many gigs we do a week. This is a commitment and when were gig ready, we're gig ready. If you feel this will be a great fit, awesome! Come help us make this dream a reality!

Any and all emails are responded to in a timely manner. We want to get this squared away fast! Please send this questionnaire and/or your replies to it to the email provided. As well, you may text me if thats more you're style.

Thanks for stopping by!
