This 2003 Epiphone Elite/Elitist Les Paul Custom features a book-matched African Mahogany body with a book-matched maple top, an Alpine White finish, and a ABR style bridge, a one piece mahogany neck, a bone nut, and Grover tuners, a rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, a 12” radius, and block inlays, a 24.75” scale, and these come equipped with an Epiphone USA 50SR in the neck and a 60ST in the bridge.
Gibson level materials and craftsmanship, if not higher (Long neck tenon, bone nut, African mahogany) without the price tag. Might sound cliched, but this would compete with any Gibson and surpass the vast majority. Do with that what you will. And this is my 20th of the Series, so that’s not coming from someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I actively seek them out to get them in the “shop” because I love having them around.
The condition is Excellent. Basically very minimal/general play wear. Has essentially had one owner its entire life and they’re an acoustic player so this ain’t too far off from grabbing one off the hanger in 2003.
Has been cleaned up, frets polished, fretboard cleaned and conditioned, new strings. D’addario 10-46.
Comes with the original Hardcase.
My tools/scale clock everything at
1st fret neck depth .86”
12th fret depth .94”
1st fret width 1.70”
12th fret width 2.07”
9 Lbs 14 oz.
