The guitar is very attractive, has a fast neck that is super easy to play, and it sounds killer with the Seymour Duncan 59 pickups. The careful craftsmanship using quality materials and hardware have made this a fine musical instrument to be proud of.
D’Angelico makes two different levels of the SS guitar, Premier and Excel. This is the Excel line, a professional level instrument with much higher quality craftsmanship, materials and components.
