QA/QC Technician β Starting at $18.00-$19.00 an hour
All Star is now looking to hire QA/QC Technician for a local food manufacturing company in the Salem area.
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for testing of ingredients and materials (including but not limited to raw materials, packaging materials and other assigned materials) throughout the stages of manufacturing process to assure compliance with company product standards and all applicable state and federal standards and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be able keep record in sample logs, track production lots, sample water quality, clean and sanitize the laboratory equipment and supplies, and bel able to test the sanitary program and culture yeast.
A minimum of Five (5) years of experience in Food Manufacturing Quality Control Laboratory environment and Food Safety Scheme environment
Must be okay with heat, dust, noise, cold, water.
Must be able to up to lift, carry, pull, push, reach, shovel, keying/typing.
Must have knowledge in word and excel/data entry
PAY AND SCHEDULE FOR POSITION:
Day shift
Starting at $18-$19 an hour
