Priority Workforce is now hiring electro-mechanical assemblers.
Position Summary:
The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and producing high-quality transformers used in critical electrical systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality. Assemblers contribute directly to product reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and specifications.
· Set up and organize the work area with appropriate tools, materials, and components.
· Identify and gather required mechanical and electrical components.
· Assemble core materials with correct alignment and arrangement.
· Attach lead wires and connect electrical components using approved wiring or soldering techniques.
· Assemble enclosures or casings to protect internal components.
· Seal enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved methods.
· Perform functional tests to ensure units meet specifications.
· Inspect assembled units for defects and perform quality checks.
· Apply labels and identification markings per specifications.
· Communicate issues or process challenges with team leaders or supervisors.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Vocational training or experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
· Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
· Familiarity with wiring and soldering is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
· Willingness to adapt to changing production needs or product designs.
Shift Schedules:
• 7:00am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri $16.00 per hour
