I have a steep roof that needs moss removal, and before I get up there, I want to make sure my fall protection system is set up correctly and safely.
I recently purchased a full-body safety harness kit with lanyard, but I understand that a harness alone is not enough. I still need guidance on the proper anchor system and overall setup.
I'm looking for someone with real experience in roofing, fall protection, construction, or similar work who can come out and:
Evaluate my roof and recommend the proper anchor setup
Advise me on which roof anchor brackets/anchors I should purchase
Show me how to properly install and use the anchors
Walk me through correct use of the harness, lanyard, rope, and fall protection equipment
Explain safe work practices for steep roofs
Help me understand what equipment I may still be missing before I begin work
My goal is not to cut corners—it's to learn the correct way to do this and make sure I'm using the right equipment before getting on the roof.
Location: West Salem
Please include:

Safety is my top priority, so I'm specifically looking for someone who has hands-on experience with fall protection systems and steep-slope roofing work.
