I pretty much always have manual labor that needs to be completed. That could be mowing, trimming or other yard maintenance, working in the warehouse, cleaning the vehicles, moving heavy items and just many many different things. Sometimes you may be cleaning detailed small pieces of equipment and other times you might be moving 150 lb bags of something, but that's seldom.
This is not an offer of employment. It's a temporary gig and I'm definitely not looking to hire any employees. That means you can set your own hours, your responsible for your own insurance and you are an independent contractor. It also means, if you say you're going to start at 8:00 a.m. I expect you to be ready to go at 8:00 a.m. not 8:01 a.m. You will not make it the first day with me if you are late. I'm absolutely not joking about this. If we're going to meet at 8:00 and you're not ready till 8:01 a.m. you're going to probably find no work for the day because I will have left at 8:00 a.m.
I'm sure I sound like a real jerk but I'm really not as long as you're normal and can function like a normal person. I'm pretty easy to work with and work for but if you're a flake, in any way, you'd be better off not responding. I'm not interested in any excuses I don't want to hear about all the details of your life or all the problems in your life. We all have problems I just care about getting the job done.
I pay $20 an hour for time worked and you'll get a check every 2 days or every 15 hours of work. If it takes you 3 days to get 15 hours, then you'll get a check every 3 days.
