CNC Operator - RMT
Pay: $20/hr + DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift
Location: Woodburn, OR
GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for an experienced CNC Operator - RMT for a water well industry manufacturer. Ideal candidate will have verifiable experience, strong troubleshooting problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, good time management & the ability to work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines (mills/lathes) to produce parts, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and setting up tooling according to blueprints or work orders.
Load, verify, and initiate programs (DNC/USB); perform offset changes (wear & geometry) as required.
Use precision measuring instruments—such as calipers, micrometers, and height/thread gauges—to check part dimensions against blueprints.
Perform routine preventative maintenance, including checking lubrication/coolant levels, cleaning the machine, and removing chips.
Complete production logs, travelers, and quality reports to ensure traceability and continuity across shifts.
Adhere to all OSHA, ITAR, and company-specific safety policies, including wearing required PPE
Qualifications:
CNC operation experience 1+ year(s) RMT experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions.
