GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a dependable Mail Route Driver for a respected local nonprofit organization. This is a short-term temporary assignment expected to last approximately 4–6 weeks, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to earn steady income immediately.

What You'll Be Doing
Drive a company minivan on established mail delivery and pickup routes throughout the Salem area.
Pick up and deliver mail, packages, and materials safely and efficiently.
Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Follow established delivery schedules while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with sorting mail and preparing deliveries.
Support mail processing equipment and other department functions as needed.
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Valid Oregon Class C Driver License.
Clean driving record required.
Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred but not required.
Comfortable driving a company minivan throughout the workday.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
Reliable, punctual, and safety focused.
Preferred Qualifications
6–12 months of delivery, courier, or route driving experience.
Experience following scheduled delivery routes.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
