Pfeifer Roofing Inc. is looking to recruit a Flat Roof installer who meets the Targeted Section 3 worker criteria for specific federally funded projects. Our current project with the Center of Hope and Safety will require the applicant to:

' Live in public housing or receive Section 8 assistance, or
' Live within 1 mile of the job site (or within a radius that includes 5,000 people if the 1-mile radius is underpopulated)

Short-term job training and job shadowing will be required to allow lesser experienced applicants to qualify and make sure they are job ready at the project start.


Flat Roofer Technical Skills
' Proficiently uses company applications for timekeeping and job tracking
' Roofing tasks, including:
o Job Preparation
Moves exterior furniture
Protects landscaping, equipment, and garage doors
Sets up danger tape and Pfeifer brand visibility on job sites
o Roofing Process
Removes existing roofing materials
Installing flat or low-slope roofing systems using various materials. This includes the preparation of the roof deck, the application of insulation, and the installation of the roofing material.
o Job Cleanup
Cleans roof, gutters, and grounds
Uses a magnet roller to ensure a debris-free site
o Assists crew by:
Gathering and loading materials
Feeding materials to installers
Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Safety: Complying with Pfeifer Roofing safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment. This includes using appropriate safety equipment and ensuring the safety of
the crew and occupants of the building.

Work Environment:
Roof Installers work in various outdoor conditions and must be comfortable with:
' Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and airborne particles.
' Working in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
' Frequent exposure to vibrations and loud noise levels.
' Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and the risk of electrical shock.
' A fast-paced and safety-focused job site.
