No pets allowed but we do have a indoor outdoor kitty named MAC he's fixed has flea med and is shy to new people in the home until he gets to know you, he's very spoiled!
The applicant will have to pass a credit, and background check. Rent includes all regular house utilities excluding your telephone or any international calls made on my landlines, the house has high speed Internet (WIFI). The bedroom has a smart TV, Roku streaming, Prime and Hulu, you can subscribe to any and all others on your own. Keep in mind that I have a PG rated IP address and fully expect it to remain so.
The house is fully furnished, only bring your clothes and toiletries. If your belongings exceed two normal size (Not steamer trunks or a u-haul trailer) suitcases, you have too much for this space! I do have a garage that we can store a fe things if needed! We can discuss this,
The home is owner occupied by my oh so loving father and myself! You will be expected to clean your bathroom your bedroom at least once each week. If you cannot, or will not do so, then a maid will be hired at your expense. Sorry but we like it clean around here and i do most everything, you just need to do you! We are loving and fun! It would be a great place to park mom or Dad! We can discuss care and or medication supervision and meals for an additional cost! Dad is 84 and I care for him full time he is pretty moble!I love to cook and shop. I am 63 about to be 64! Whoo hoo!
Smoking is ok outside on front porch or back patio never inside!! Not really interested in any substance uses at any time in the home or on the property/ nor use of recreational drugs of any sort.
Liquor consumption OK as long as it does not get out of control, after all most of us have a glass of wine with dinner.
The room is for single occupancy only. I prefer to keep it furnished no place to store the furnishing in the room its our antique room and most of the house is shabby Chic decorated!

Private bath that has a shower / the bathroom is a shared space. there is a second bathroom if needed in urgent cases in Dads room! When dad passes that room may be your it's like a small apartment in there! lol
the house has AC and the room has insulation on all four walls plus the ceiling, the room is carpeted and recently cleaned when we bought it in December it's a spare room! Laundry room is off the office room and free to use!

The right person will enjoy use of the space provided you leave the space as you found it including the lint trap in the dryer! Kitchen is fully stocked. If you use something, you will be expected to replace it. Rent does not include food. We can share meals or separate but I do love to cook! As with anything if you damage it, I expect the item to be replaced with the same kind and quality.
We usually go to bed early and wake up early.
The property is owner occupied. The owner has an office in the home and works out of the home.

What is important? Leave the space you occupy as you found it, including the bathroom(s). Keep your space Clean and UNCLUTTERED. Be respectful of things that do not belong to you. Help with the household chores in the common spaces,
Food you can contribute to the grocery bill in the same portion as you use resources, or you can be responsible for your own meals & supplies. You will have full access to the kitchen provided you can clean up after yourself and leave the space and appliances as you found them clean and in good working order. Crumbs in the trash and not on the floor or counter. While I enjoy cooking when I am home, meals are not included in the rent.
What does it take to move in? *$2,000 and passing a background and credit check moves you in! (1st month rent and last month rent and a 30/day to vacate notice is required, and $200 Cleaning deposit), additionally the applicant must pay for the background check, through “Smart Moves”. The security deposit is refundable less any repair bills. Cleaning deposit is not refundable.
