Location: Salem, Oregon
Compensation: $16–$24 per hour to start (with potential increase after 3 months based on performance)
Are you caring, dependable, and looking for meaningful work? We're seeking dedicated caregivers to assist a woman with quadriplegia in living an independent, joyful life at home.
đź’Ľ Job Responsibilities:
• Personal hygiene care (bathing, oral care, grooming)
• Dressing and undressing
• Assistance with eating and light cooking
• Range of motion exercises
• Urinary catheter care
• Administering supplement medications
• Light housekeeping
• Transferring (using a mechanical lift – full assist)
• Positioning in bed and a power wheelchair for pressure relief
• Accompanying to appointments
• Caring for two (adorable!) service dogs, including feeding and toileting
No professional experience required — we will train the right person!
âś… Requirements:
• Must be okay with animals
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• COVID-19 vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated
• Able to provide professional references
• Some caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
⏰ Schedule:
• Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Additional hours available (up to 20+ hours/week)
