Hopeful Care is looking for a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to help someone build independence, reach personal goals, and enjoy meaningful community experiences.
What You’ll Do
* Provide quality, person-centered support.
* Encourage independence and community involvement.
* Assist with recreational and daily living activities.
* Administer medications after completing required training.
* Follow the individual’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).
* Complete daily documentation and progress notes.
* Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation when needed.
* Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
* Ability to pass required background checks.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities required.
