UPDATE: This machine is for PARTS ONLY now. I may have fried the electric on this machine. I was charging it while we were getting electric work done at the house and after that, it wouldn't charge properly.

The Tollos Steady-Aid is easy to use for the caregiver and the patient! The bottom legs open up for extra maneuverability. (not shown here) There is a handheld device to operate the lift and the keypad also has arrows for lift and lowering. There is an emergency lowering release. It is slow and steady for the patient and extra strong for the caregiver. The handles of this sit-to-stand lift require a bit of upward mobility and grip strength for the patient.

According to the User Manual, which I do not believe we have, this sit-to-stand lift is for people who can support 20% of their body weight at least. This device has a maximum weight lift of 350 pounds.

The service manual also says that it service prompts at 1000 lifts and auto shuts down at 6000 lifts and has to be reset by an authorized dealer at that point.

This machine is a 2013. It comes with one brand new sling, including comfort band (not pictured, sorry). This machine was in storage for a period of time but seems to work just fine. The only known problem with it is that one of the caster brakes' lever tab is broken off. The brake still functions without any issue, but releasing the brake has to be done by hand, or it could be fixed or possibly replaced.

The machine seems to indicate it was used a number of times without full charge (see stats below), but I don't think that is right, because it just doesn't seem possible. I'm not sure how that number is measured though. The only result I can see of using when not fully charged is that the full charge of the machine is now topping at 70%. That doesn't seem to affect usage time at all, though. This machine has 813 lifts left until a warning light will come on alerting that it needs to be serviced.

This lift has almost no wear and tear. It looks brand new except for the broken caster brake tab. It was used in a non-smoking home. The pictures show the caster with the broken tab in the locked and unlocked position.
