condition: good
make / manufacturer: Westnofa
model name / number: Siesta Chair
Iconic low-back Siesta Chair, dating from the late 60s/early 70s. Brown leather soft seat and back cushion with matching button tufting. The lightweight frame has a canvas and cord structure for additional softness, flexibility, and resilience. Bentwood frame is probably made of oak – definitely not the birch that they use now.

This is a midcentury modern classic design which won a prestigious design award in 1965. I bought it from the original owner several years ago, and while I hate to part with it, the seat is too low for me to use comfortably. This chair would make someone with younger knees very happy!

In fair vintage condition, with minor repairs to the canvas backing.

From a smoke-free home.

Width: 25 inches
Height: 31 inches
