I'm selling an American-made hardwood bureau my parents bought shortly after their 1948 marriage. It became mine in the early 1960s, has done yeoman duty since then.
I'm downsizing, cutting back, time to go.
Bureau is 48" tall, 29" wide, 22" deep, four drawers that work very smoothly.
I'm not sure what kind of wood it's made of - believe it's hardwood (maple? Beats me) half-inch thick. No cracks or other flaws.
This is not an Ikea screw-it-together or a particle board flimsy. This bureau is built like a battleship, should be good for a couple more centuries. You may not be impressed, but your great-great-great-great-great grandchildren will be.
Unless your needs or tastes change this is the last bureau you'll ever buy - at a terrific price.
Bureau is in my South Salem storage unit, as you can tell by the photo. Text me at show contact info
to set up an appointment to view.
Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) firm, no negotiating, cash only. A similar new bureau today costs $1,000-1,500; I'm moving and motivated.
If you buy this for your child they, like I, will be using it in retirement. 🙂
