This is a real classic late 60’s early 70’s receiver. Allied was a brand that brought many people into the stereo age. It was affordable and offered great sound and lots of features. This little jewel is rated at 10 Watts per channel but sounds like considerably more. All features are functional and all pots and switches have been de-oxed. Lamps have also been replaced. This is an excellent choice for someone wanting retro sound at a good price. I have two Allied receivers for sale but only one wooden walnut case. It will fit either unit so if you like the wooden case, act quickly.
