I am selling our 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. We bought it for my son, but he decided he wanted a nissan 350z instead. So the Jetta is for sale. I fixed some things on the car that I thought were important. Here is what I did.
New oil cooler / filter assy (leaking)
Oil changed
New coolant reservoir (broken)
New coolant temp sensor (leaking)
Coolant flush
New wheel bearing (driver side)
New cv axle (driver side)
New serpentine belts and tentioners
New headlight assemblys (left and right, now they are clear)
New window switches (driver door)
New headliner (was falling down)
New heater recirculation motor
I'm sure I am forgetting some things but it is a really solid car now. I drive it every day till it's sold.
The check engine light is on and has been since I've owned it. It doesn't affect the way the car runs, so i never worried about it.
The dome lights in the ceiling don't come on. The lights on the floor do light up.
