I have an old UPS - mid 90's. The ferroresonant tank caps have faded, and it no longer works (throws alarm due to "undervoltage" on output). This is a big unit - 5.3kVA. I need someone comfortable with electronics repair - soldering, disassembly, testing. I need the capacitors replaced - this should be a 2-3 hour job, in theory. I don't have the time, and I hate soldering. Alternately, if you have a forklift or some other way of moving a 600# device out of a truck and into your shop, I can bring it to you if you're within 40 miles of Scott's Mills (Portland or Salem)
You should bring your own tools. Tell me what you would charge per hour. If you need parts, I'll order them and have them shipped to you on your specs.
Include an email address and what your hourly is. I'm in Scotts Mills -please look a map before replying to ensure this is within range for you.
