Are there organizations teaching sewing to help underemployed people? (Salem)

I am a person who has hundreds of yards of fabric. I’m putting my will together and know that the person who will eventually handle my estate will literally take it all to the dump. I’m looking for a group, religious or secular, that has as their mission, teaching underemployed people how to sew with the goal of giving them a way to make money. Maybe someone knows of a prison program? I’m not planning on dying any time soon, but don’t want to leave it up to my dump-happy friend to find a place to take it all.
I also have hundreds and hundreds of books. Suggestions on where to dispose of them would be helpful too. Since Goodwill and all other thrift stores won’t give things away, other ideas would be welcomed. Thank you.
