🛠️ What You'll Do
As our Commercial Construction Estimator, you'll play a critical role in shaping project success from the ground up by analyzing project specifications, developing cost estimates, and collaborating with Project Managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret architectural drawings, specs, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed, competitive estimates for materials and labor
• Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to gather accurate pricing
• Track costs and identify savings opportunities
• Participate in bid reviews and post-bid evaluations
• Maintain organized documentation throughout the estimating process
🎯 What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with sharp attention to detail and a strong grasp of commercial construction practices, ideally with experience in architectural hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in commercial construction estimating or similar field
• Knowledge of Division 8 (Openings) and related materials
• Proficient in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
