I no longer use my boat, this would make a great live aboard for only $12,000 down and $527 per month for five short years. This boat has diesel heat throughout the yacht which will keep you warm during the winter months. You can fish off the back of the boat and eat your catch for dinner.
Drastic price reduction, do the work yourself and have a boat that you can have for years to come. I do not have the time to tinker with my boat anymore and want to sell it to someone who wants to fix her up and use her, maybe live aboard! Trade the rent your paying and live aboard!! Price DROP!!
Boat needs to be thoroughly cleaned and pressure washed as it has been sitting next to my floating home for quite a while ( manage expectations) this boat could be taken down to Siglers cove a few miles down Multnomah channel and be a live aboard for $300 monthly this boat would make a great live aboard.
Note the port engine seems to have a coolant leak that I have not tracked down, It could be a hose or a manicooler
that might need to be replaced ( $5000 fix) other than this the boat has a lot of value for the price.
Too much to list.
This boat had both fuel tanks replaced after a leak was found ( the replacements were by the same manufacturer that originally made the fuel tanks) So many of these boats that are now 30 years or older are time bombs waiting to happen.
The boat needs to be cleaned up as I have not used her through covid.
Has :
Auto pilot
Fresh bottom pain last 2 years
New fuel tanks ( PAY ATTENTION so many of these older bayliners fuel tanks are a time bomb waiting to explode)
2 Tv's
Dishwasher ( that's right its has a small dishwasher that I installed)
New inverter 2kw xantrex monitor system
The Bayliner 38xx series is a Pacific Northwest boater's favorite because of the combination of space utilization, good handling and economical Hino diesels. This design features a comfortable salon with wraparound dinette that converts to a double berth, two cabins and two private heads plus a bathtub/shower! Electric heaters and Red Dot engine heat keep things toasty when it's chilly outside Also had hydronic diesel heater that goes into the main stateroom secondary state room and the salon.. Two VHF radios. New radio/cd/Bluetooth entertainment center and 42 inch TV in the salon and 32 inch tv in the main stateroom, I installed a dishwasher under the sink in the main salon. . Anchor and windlass is fully functional.
Don't need to sell but If I can get $38k firm I will sell it to you.
The normally asperated 175hp Hinos run for ever I have seen many that have 10,000 hour on them my boat is about 18% of that.
This would make a great family boat and has not seen salt water for over 20 years ( fresh water kept)
It has a pair of kayaks on top deck and has the extended deck that was installed just after it was new.
The engines run great and smooth. Engine hours approx. 1800 each
This yacht is sidled up next to my floating home on the Multnomah channel but it must be moved to a live-aboard community if you plan to live aboard or you can seek moorage at the marina where it is located ( no live aboard allowed)
If you are mechanically inclined and are not afraid to get dirty cleaning up you could have a really nice pre owned bayliner.
