Functionality Notes & History:
MD Equipment Services (MDES) purchased this unit from a customer of mine about 1-1/2 years ago. They no longer used it and, eventually, closed this location. The video was taken in November 2023 at my customer's location before I purchased. My customer owned it for about 40 years, from around 1983 according to the company's oral history. I believe they were the 2nd owner.
The hour meter says 2,432 hours. To the best of my knowledge, this is accurate. My warehouse man says it works fine; however, the gear linkage is worn so hitting all 4 gears may require some TLC. The engine is a small block Chevy, regular gas.
