Why do you need a DAMP BOX?
Damp Boxes for Pottery is a game changer for the busy potter. Have you ever made a few mugs and then you couldn't find the right time to put handles on them before they all dried too much? Do you work on sculpture or embellished pieces? Want to work on carving a piece over a period of time and maintain the perfect leather stage? A DAMP BOX is the answer! A Damp Box with a 2" plaster bat holds the moisture and keeps the clay at your desired level of dryness indefinitely. The boxes I make have an air/moisture seal and built-in clamps. You can even keep pieces with different stages of dryness in the the same box. The box is sealed tight so the moisture in the clay and the plaster recycles itself, like the earth!

Bonus: if you need a nice plaster slab for recycling or drying clay, the plaster bat easily pops in/out of the box. You can't buy a plaster bat by itself this cheaply anywhere else. I do not sell the slabs without the boxes.

I will not respond to “Is this available?” because boxes are made to order and always available. Just let me know what size you want, when you want it and where you prefer to pick-up/meet-up.
