I've been to three holiday craft shows but haven't found any neck warmers yet. I know I can get them from Etsy/eBay, but I'd rather spend my money locally.

THANK YOU to the person who was able to give a description allowing the Police to create a sketch of a possible person if interest.
Please look at the image below and see if this person looks like someone you may know or have seen in the area.

REWARD for information leading to the capture and conviction of the man who physically attacked a 74yr old man (and ex-Marine) walking his dog early Saturday morning on 9/12/09 along the south end of Santana Park in the 800 block of Shawnee Drive SE between Shenandoah Drive S.E. and Pennsylvania Drive S.E. in Salem leaving him severely injured and incapacitated. This man has since died presumably as a result from these injuries. Autopsy reports pending.

As recently covered on all the television news channels; About 4:30 am that Saturday morning, a man riding a bicycle approximately 30yrs old and talking on a cell phone to someone, approached the elderly man demanding his money. But since Mr. Valentine was not carrying any money just to merely walk his dog, he was brutally and viciously attacked by this other man. The results of this horribly needless incident left him with severe medical issues including a stroke, which is currently suspected to have eventually led to his untimely death on 9/21/09.

MAIN CLUE -
Somebody was talking to the assailant on the phone at that time when he said something like; 'I gotta go, I have to talk to somebody'. **So there is at least one person out there with knowledge of who this man is and most likely heard of the event that ended their call. *If you were the one on the other end of the phone with this man that Saturday morning at 4:30am, please do the right thing and mention it to the Police before things get worse for all involved!

The assailant must also have had some blood on him or perhaps scraped knuckles to indicate his actions.
If you recall meeting or seeing anyone with these indicators, on or shortly after the date of the attack, please call the Police.

Mr. Valentine proudly and valiantly served our country in the U.S.M.C. so people like this can have the "right" to ride a bicycle around at 4:30am and talk on a cell phone. But that does not give them the right to have brutally attacked him, or possibly continue to attack anyone else in hopes of stealing a few measely dollars. Mr Valentine was just recently layed to rest with military honors in Willamette National Cemetary.

Any confirmed tips provided to the Marion County Sherriff will be rewarded by the family of Mr. Valentine upon capture and conviction of this very violent criminal.

I am a family relative of this older man and I am furious that this needlessly violent assault was taken against a helpless old man in attempts to steal a few dollars which he did not have anyway. This violent and malicious criminal needs to be taken off the streets and held accountable for his actions!! Please help us with any information you may have about this since someone's gotta be bragging about it thinking he's such a tough-guy to do this horrible crime against a defenseless old man.

Hello, my name is Alexsandrina. I have 3 children, all boys. Bryan is 4 years old, Jakob is 2 years old, and Riley is 1 years old. I have never done this before, and had hoped to never have to. I don�t like asking for help, but I have no choice now. My husband was recently laid off from work, and I am going to college full time. We are not able to provide my children with a Christmas now, and it breaks my heart.
My children have gone through a tough time these past few years. My son, Jakob, has a seizure disorder, and has spent most of his 2 years in the hospital. We just found out that Riley also has a seizure disorder, and is 50% deaf. Because of all the hospitalizations, it has taken time away from Bryan.
Because of all the hardships we have had to go through, we lost our home, and are now living with my inlaws.
I am asking for someone to lend a helping hand to my children, to help them have a Christmas. I am not asking for money, just for some gifts to give to my children.

Found out this past week that I can have my 9 and 10 year old for christmas this year!!! Now I just need the money to get them here. Nothing is free though, and I am not asking for anything for free. See I'm a father of 5 and am having trouble with with DHS, they are telling me I'm not allowed to be around my children because of a case that happened when I was 13 I was charged with it completed probation and all other orders from the judge at the time.... And now DHS wants to put there nose in and review this case and see if I'm allowed back with my family... I don't think its legal think it falls under double jeoperty and with the jobs like they are these days don't have a lot of money for an attorney to fight it..... But if you are willing to help I want to Sue then for a list of things and you will be paid in the end... Please help if not for me do it for my kids they have a great Dad and for no reason DHS wants to take that away from them....
